The Club returns with a special guest: Nick Cerioni

Tuesday 12 May sees the return of one of Galleria Cavour’s most popular events: The Club. Conceived with the aim of restoring the central role that social interaction has always played at a venue like Galleria Cavour, The Club has now become an unmissable highlight for the Galleria community.
The star of this new talk is Nick Cerioni, one of the most highly regarded stylists on the national scene, known for his unconventional approach to fashion and his ability to redefine the image of today’s most famous artists. Cerioni has redefined the very concept of the image consultant’s profession: his work is not limited to dressing an artist, but amplifies their language, transforming clothing into an integral part of the narrative and the message they wish to convey.
Clothes speak, and Cerioni knows it: he has proven it through his work. Proof of this is his current collaboration with Achille Lauro, who, at recent Sanremo Festivals, has achieved aesthetic heights that have entered popular culture, with glam rock looks, references to David Bowie, and Renaissance and historical influences.
Outfits such as those inspired by St Francis or the Marquise Casati were not mere aesthetic provocations, but cultural statements blending art history, fashion and entertainment. In addition to Lauro, Cerioni has worked with artists such as Måneskin, helping to craft a glamorous, androgynous and international aesthetic that has accompanied their global rise, particularly following their victory at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
Here too, the stylist’s work was not limited to simply ‘dressing’ the artists: it was the result of a coherent construction in which the image was in dialogue with the music, the stage and the audience. His name is associated with all those stars who today experiment most with aesthetics and who, through him, have come to realise how much the cultivation of one’s image contributes to mythologising both the art and the artist.
Elodie, Jovanotti and Marco Mengoni are just a few of the celebrities whose look has been shaped by Nick Cerioni’s talent. The stylist admits to drawing freely from different worlds: vintage fashion, queer culture, cinema, contemporary art and pop icons of the past. It is not uncommon to find echoes of Madonna or Prince in his work, albeit reinterpreted with a contemporary twist. The Club will give friends of Galleria Cavour the opportunity to get to know a great professional who is capable of transforming an image into a story, and a story into a cultural phenomenon.
