In the American fashion house’s latest campaign, actress Natalie Portman is captured on a New York rooftop as she draws inspiration to jot down her thoughts and emotions in a strictly Tiffany blue diary. Her magnetic face is framed by jewellery from the HardWear by Tiffany collection, which today stands as one of the most iconic collections embodying the American fashion house’s aesthetic transformation. The line stems from a desire to reinterpret the brand’s historic codes through a more contemporary, bold and urban language. Its distinctive character, in fact, lies in the fusion of the house’s artisanal tradition with an aesthetic inspired by the architectural power and energy of New York City.

The inspiration for the entire range came from an archive bracelet dating from 1917, characterised by an industrial-style mesh structure and a minimalist yet powerful design. It was precisely this historical piece that led to a new interpretation, transforming the chain – long a symbol of jewellery – into an instantly recognisable graphic motif brimming with personality. Tiffany transforms it into a true aesthetic code: the intertwined links take centre stage in necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.

The name HardWear perfectly encapsulates the collection’s philosophy: jewellery with a strong presence, designed to express character and independence. The designs draw on mechanical and architectural elements, featuring oversized links, metal spheres, sculptural clasps and bold proportions. The result is a sophisticated balance between visual impact and refinement. Alongside the innovative design, the star of the show is the use of precious materials in various combinations of yellow gold, rose gold and white gold, often enhanced by diamonds that bring out their lustre.

The collection embodies a less formal and more personal concept of luxury: it is not intended to be a mere status symbol, but rather an expression of style, confidence and authenticity. Wearing jewellery from this range conveys a personality that is assertive, strong and, at the same time, elegant, in a rare balance of beauty. Discover it at the flagship store in Galleria Cavour.
