Prada presents the new PE22 men’s collection

Fashion has often accustomed us to inspirations of opposing styles and elements that interwine: past and future, minimalism and opulence, nature and abstraction.

The inspiration that characterized the Prada Men’s PE22 show is no exception: the set is a red and sinuous tunnel, almost symbolizing an escape to an outdoor space dominated by nature.

Attention is focused on the contrasts in which the clothes parade: an aseptic and scarlet interior that at the end of the path reaches a more familiar dimension with a seaside flavor where crystal clear waters are the backdrop to beaches and granite boulders. What impresses are the soft and undefined lines of trousers, jackets and outerwear but also the prints that recall anchors, tentacles, mermaids and symbols belonging to the sea and its mysteries. The bright colors stand out, especially those of the accessories, often resembling sea buckets or codes belonging to the world of fishing.

The new collection proposed by Prada is courageous and elegant but also attentive to the environment. In fact, the brand, together with the MEDSEA Foundation, is committed to protecting marine ecosystems and the reforestation of the protected area of Capo Carbonara.
