The Club returns to Galleria Cavour with Andrea Batilla

15 October - 2025

The regular event that combines fashion and ideas returns to Galleria Cavour. The Club community is ready to inaugurate the second meeting of the season with a special guest: Andrea Batilla.

The event will be held on Sunday 19 October in the prestigious rooms of Palazzo Vassé Pietramellara, a location that combines historical elegance and contemporary style, the perfect setting for a dialogue that promises to go far beyond appearances. Once again, Gioia Martini will be the host, accompanied by Chiara Franchi.

As always, the stated aim is to offer a space for reflection on the concept of luxury, the value of aesthetics and the personal enrichment that can come from comparing and sharing values. In this context, Andrea Batilla is the perfect choice: a trained designer, lecturer, writer and sharp critic, over the years Batilla has developed a solid and independent critical thinking on the fashion system, becoming one of the most authoritative and original voices on the Italian fashion scene and beyond.

His renowned newsletter, read by thousands of professionals and enthusiasts, stands out for its consistently lucid and never complacent perspective, capable of praising but also exposing the fashion system with intelligence and irony. The dialogue will start from his latest essay, Come ti vesti (How you dress), published by Rizzoli, in which Batilla explores the profound meaning of dressing, traversing centuries of history and questioning what clothes reveal about us.

After all, we know that dressing is not just a daily gesture, but an act of self-awareness and identity affirmation. Starting from these ideas, the meeting will seek to offer a timely and necessary reflection on the state of contemporary fashion, at a historic moment marked by significant changes in taste, production and the perception of luxury.

The Club thus confirms its status as a valuable event for Bologna and beyond: a living mirror of a curious, aware community eager to look beyond trends towards critical thinking about how we inhabit the world, including through what we wear.
