It’s official: Dua Lipa is Bulgari’s new brand ambassador. The Roman fine jewellery house, founded in 1884, was keen to secure the singer because, as explained by Laura Burdese, the group’s incoming CEO, the artist embodies a contemporary vision of empowerment and freedom: the very values that the company conveys through its exquisite creations.
The theme of hypnotic, elegant and strong femininity is dear to Bulgari, which has always expressed, through its jewellery and watches, an identity with a strong character. Dua Lipa’s appointment as brand ambassador comes at a crucial moment for both the pop star’s career and the fashion house.
The singer, a multiple Grammy winner and chart-topping artist, is further cementing her position in the fashion world, as she has done in the past with her iconic appearances in Chanel and her celebrated collaborations in the luxury sector, most notably with Versace.
With this move, Bulgari aims to appeal to an increasingly younger audience, demonstrating once again its ability to blend historical narrative with contemporary appeal. Finally, the appointment demonstrates just how much the world of luxury has now opened its doors to the pop and mainstream worlds. It is not merely a matter of aesthetics or visibility, but of shared values that influence one another.
The first photo from the new advertising campaign shows the pop star in a simple yet sophisticated look: the minimalist outfit, consisting of an all-white shirt, is designed to highlight the star and her jewellery (rings, bracelets, watches and necklaces in gold and diamonds from the Serpenti Viper collections and the B.zero1 line).
“It’s incredibly special to work alongside an iconic brand like Bulgari,” said the singer. “I’m thrilled to be part of a house that embodies confidence, creativity and modern femininity. Their jewellery always adds the perfect finishing touch, transforming a look into a truly special moment.” Discover the Roman house’s creations at Bartorelli jewellers in Galleria Cavour.
