Galleria Cavour and Bimbo Tu together for a special afternoon
From 3.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., amidst magical and dreamy Christmas atmospheres, it will be possible for all visitors to contribute to the charitable cause by purchasing chocolate in a cup, gingerbread biscuits and sweet treats.
The proceeds of the event, offered by Galleria Cavour, will be donated to the Bimbo Tu association, which since 2007 has been working alongside children suffering from diseases of the central nervous system and their families in the Neurosurgery and Child Neuropsychiatry wards of Bologna’s three main hospitals: Ospedale Bellaria, Policlinico Sant’Orsola and Ospedale Maggiore.
The mission of Gioia Martini and Bimbo Tu is to offer free support and welcome to families facing the emotional and logistical-organisational complexities linked to illness and the related care pathway (www.bimbotu.it).
The afternoon will reserve special attention and playful surprises especially for the little ones. It will also be possible to take a souvenir photo inside the hall of Galleria Cavour, transformed for the occasion into an enchanting photo set dedicated to Christmas.
“For Bimbo Tu it is an honour to be present in a place that is a symbol of the city and its citizens, such as Galleria Cavour, in the heart of Bologna. And it is a further honour to be there at the warmest time of the year, close to the Christmas holidays. I would like to thank Gioia Martini, Fulvia Santi and all the staff and collaborators who have worked to make this a magical moment, with the aim of being at the side of the young hospitalised patients and making their holidays warmer and full of affection“. These are the words of Cora Querzè, director of Bimbo Tu.
That of Sunday 17 will therefore be a moment of celebration and smiles in the setting of the majestic Christmas decorations and will prove once again that, at our reality, emotions always represent the most beautiful gift.
