Moncler celebrates its birthday with the new Maya 70

Moncler knows how to celebrate an anniversary. After having blown out the candles for his first 70 years in Milan, with a monumental event in Piazza Duomo that saw Virna Toppi, etoile of the Teatro alla Scala, and a cast of 1952 people (the number is not accidental: 1952 corresponds to the year of its foundation), Remo Ruffini, patron of the brand, is preparing to kick off another 70 days of celebrations.
He will do it with the innovative and pioneering style that has always distinguished the brand: through the new models of the Maya jacket, a great classic of the maison, for the occasion, artfully revisited, in the truest sense of the term. Moncler Maya 70 limited edition, in fact, will symbolically connect the past and the future of the brand: starting from October 15, every week, one of the new variants of the iconic outerwear will be unveiled, reinterpreted by 7 designers who have been part of the Moncler family over the course of time, making their mark through their visionary previous collaborations.
The names? Rick Owens, Giambattista Valli, Thom Browne, Pharrell Williams, Francesco Ragazzi, Pierpaolo Piccioli and Hiroshi Fujiwara. New colors, new lines and above all new designs for what has always been considered one of the identity garments of Moncler's DNA: a timeless jacket, capable of transcending seasons and trends. To anticipate the upcoming celebratory project was the preview presentation of the commemorative logo, wrapped for the occasion in the symbol of infinity together with the famous cockerel redesigned with the number 70. The communication campaign of the entire project is also expected to be of great impact with archive images and archive photographs alongside futuristic projects such as those of the German digital artist Antoni Tudisco.
"This anniversary is an important moment to remember the history that has brought us here and to look to our future, thinking about what we have learned and what we still dream about". These are the words with which Ruffini kicked off the celebrations of a very special birthday.
