Prada: the Summer Collection

Prada represents one of the most important stores in Galleria Cavour. Also for this reason, each new collection is enthusiastically welcomed by visitors and fashion lovers.

The Summer Collection has just arrived in the boutique: a dynamic and flamboyant version of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ universe that projects the buyer at the gates of the summer season. The elegance is the same as always: sober and never exaggerated. The colors, however, veer enthusiastically towards a liveliness that certainly does not go unnoticed.

The new style code is expressed, once again, under the sign of contrasts, particularly dear to the maison. So casual meets formal wear, day dresses are transformed into evening suits and the sophisticated spirit becomes playful. Tactile silks, fine cashmere, leather and kid mohair: even the fabrics are mixed in a collection that, despite the exuberance of the colors, always manages to combine elegance and minimalism.

Shirts and shorts tell, through light textures and intense colors, the dynamism of the upcoming summer season just around the corner. The must-haves of this collection continue to be the fisherman’s hats (revisited for the occasion in raffia as well as the beautiful beach shopping bags), the triangle bag (destined to become a must-have accessory in both women’s and men’s wardrobes, thanks to a clever play on colors) and chocolate moccasins in brushed leather. If, within the proposals dedicated to women, the silk crop tops and terry cloth accessories stand out, the collection dedicated to men, also present in the Bologna store, re-proposes the short-sleeved silk shirts with their ironic patterns, already appreciated in the spring-summer 2021.
