The “Colazione d’Autore” returns to I Portici Hotel in Bologna

From 8.00 am to 11.00 am, guests will be invited to enjoy a one-of-a-kind tasting experience created by two leading names in the Italian confectionery scene: pastry chef and ice cream maker Gabriele Vannucci, from Pasticceria Eden, and the hotel’s own pastry chef, Vincenzo Digifico.

The event, which has now become a fixture on the city’s calendar, stems from a fusion of passion, research and creativity, fostering a dialogue between signature desserts, exceptional baked goods and pairings designed to enhance the pleasure of breakfast. For enthusiasts, it offers a special opportunity to discover new interpretations of the local pastry-making tradition within a setting of exclusive refinement in the heart of the city.

The tasting menu also includes drinks and aims to fulfil the promise of taking guests on a multi-sensory journey of discovery through flavours, aromas, textures and emotions. It has been specially designed by the two master pastry chefs to delight connoisseurs and the simply curious alike.
