The year of the Tiger has begun
A few days ago, exactly since the beginning of February, we officially entered the year of the Water Tiger.
According to the Chinese calendar, this sign, which returns to its domain after sixty years, symbolizes strength, courage, self-esteem and determination. Water, which is the dynamic element in which it moves, represents instead, always according to Eastern astrology: movement, challenges and changes.
It is for this reason that in China the year has been welcomed with great enthusiasm and portentous celebrations: the auspices are those of new challenges on the horizon to be faced with the determination and dynamism of this emblematic feline. Even the luxury sector, which always looks to the Asian giant with extreme interest, is experimenting with new synergies in view of this astral conjunction. It is precisely for this reason that the Chinese New Year has become more and more a protagonist of the international fashion scene.
It also happens in Galleria Cavour, where many stores have celebrated the occasion by presenting capsule collections dedicated to the theme of the Tiger. From Versace, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu the tiger feline appeared on t-shirts, scarves, prints and accessories.
Bartorelli jewellery, concessionaire, among others, of prestigious brands such as Bulgari, Gucci and Omega, has dedicated one of its latest promotional campaigns to ruby red, the color symbol of China. Prada, on the other hand, has become the bearer of a charity activity sponsored by the China Green Foundation for the protection of tigers and leopards. Sensational, then, was the installation of Bottega Veneta recently inaugurated, thanks to digital support, right on the Great Wall of China and immediately became trendy on social networks. Fashion, once again, breaks down borders and unites millenary cultures under the sign of beauty.
It is a way to discover new worlds, delve into distant civilizations and be fascinated by the optimism of historical and sometimes unknown traditions. Discover the creations inspired by this important oriental occasion and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of elegance and creativity where Bologna and China are not so far away.
