Galleria Cavour breaks down the barriers and becomes more and more accessible
Welcome can not and must not have limits: for that reason, Galleria Cavour, for which welcome has always been a trademark, from today makes its walk more accessible to everyone.
The ownership has committed, in agreement with the City of Bologna, to build a platform which allows everybody, from differently abled people to mothers carrying their strollers, to have access from the entry located at Via Farini 14 and comfortably reach our beloved boutiques at any hour of the day and at anytime without limitations. And we say “at any hour” not by chance; in fact, even outside of visiting hours, Galleria Cavour is always open to the public, 24 hours a day.
Ours is a choice of culture and commitment, which takes up the challenge we have self-issued: to welcome everybody in order to give the magic of a unique walk among boutiques, shop windows and dreamlike exhibitions. In fact, Galleria Cavour is one of the symbols of Bologna: a point of reference for the citizens, but also for the many tourists looking for excellence and Italian style, which are enclosed in our frame.
This is for us a source of pride and responsibility at the same time. That’s why we want architectural barriers to be out of fashion: the only exclusive things that distinguish us shall remain the emotions we give.
